Today (July 6), the 2023 TCL Global Ecosystem Partner Conference was held in Wuhan, with global partners from the fields of smart terminals, semiconductor display, and new energy photovoltaics gathering in Hubei. On site, the TCL Industrial Internet Dual-Cross Platform Operation Headquarters settled in Hubei. This platform is a dual-cross platform originating from the semiconductor manufacturing industry in China, built by GETECH, which was incubated by TCL. It is also the first national-level industrial internet dual-cross platform in Hubei, having accumulated nearly 30,000 industrial models and over 10,000 industrial APPs. After the operation headquarters settles in Hubei, it will expand cooperation with Hubei in more areas such as technology R&D, talent cultivation, and product sales.
He Jun, Vice President of TCL Industries and CEO of GETECH: 'We are settling our entire industrial internet R&D center and industrial software R&D center in Wuhan. This morning, we signed strategic cooperation agreements with two international companies, and we can bring their best technologies to Hubei and Wuhan.'
Since 2013, TCL has successively built the Huaxing Optoelectronics t3, t4, and t5 factories in Wuhan. This year, it is also building a new air conditioner factory in Hubei.
Li Dongsheng, Founder and Chairman of TCL: 'Our factory is introducing a large amount of smart manufacturing technology. This factory aims to achieve the highest efficiency and the smallest energy consumption. The scale of the air conditioner factory involves 10 million units. We are confident that the Wuhan air conditioner factory will become the most competitive air conditioner factory in China.'
