Industrial Expo Future Manufacturing Summit | Gechuang East Intelligence: AIoT Innovation Technology Empowers Digital and Intelligent Upgrade of Future Manufacturing
On September 19, the 6th 'Future Manufacturing Summit Forum,' organized by the China International Industrial Expo Committee, was held in Shanghai. Expert guests from domestic and international companies such as Siemens, Schneider, IBM, SAP, Delta, and Gechuang East Intelligence were invited to share innovative practices and successful experiences in digital transformation, jointly exploring the path of digital transformation for China's manufacturing industry. Dai Haihua, Vice President of Gechuang East Intelligence, delivered a keynote speech at the summit, sharing the development and application of AIoT innovation technology in the digital and intelligent upgrade of manufacturing.
In his speech, Dai Haihua pointed out that the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry is a continuous process, having gone through the eras of mechanization, electrification, automation, informatization, and digitalization. In the next 10-20 years, it will enter the era of intelligent upgrading. At the same time, the development model of enterprises is shifting from 'scale expansion' to 'high-quality development.' In the intelligent era, the final form of manufacturing factories is about to be realized. Examples include digital twin simulation and planning verification, digital supply chain consoles, scenario-based intelligent decision-making + automated control, AI blockchain enabling dual-carbon operations, etc. The creation of smart factories relies on the synergistic effects of various innovative technologies, with AIoT becoming the key driver for the digital and intelligent upgrade of factories.
'The accelerated integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) has sparked the wave of AIoT. By combining IoT with AI, data collected by distributed nodes can be leveraged through the application of AI technologies such as machine learning and deep learning,' Dai Haihua explained. AIoT, together with technologies like the industrial internet, is redefining industrial collaboration, collecting, processing, and analyzing vast amounts of production and equipment data for the manufacturing industry. The richer and more open the data, the better the efficiency of industrial chain collaboration. The digital transformation and innovation of the manufacturing industry driven by AIoT are imperative.
Meanwhile, breakthroughs in large models/generative AI technology are expected to accelerate the deep application of AIoT in manufacturing. For example, in quality management, the introduction of GPT technology enables AI to intelligently identify improvement processes and outputs, generating AIGC-type 8D reports for effective data and process management.
As a national-level cross-industry platform originating from semiconductor manufacturing, Gechuang East Intelligence possesses strong platform technical capabilities and mature smart factory planning expertise, having applied AIoT technology to comprehensive data collection, manufacturing system integration, and business closed-loop driving, achieving AI-assisted data decision-making.
For instance, in digital quality management, Gechuang East Intelligence offers a complete product and service matrix, including QMS quality management, MFA multi-factor analysis, and visual inspection solutions like ADC. Through integrated one-stop digital solutions, it helps the manufacturing industry effectively enhance quality management.
In digital energy and carbon management, Gechuang East Intelligence's dual-carbon platform integrates equipment IoT, AI algorithms, and edge control, forming a cloud-edge integrated operating system. Through equipment interconnection, big data processing, AI modeling, and the fusion of equipment mechanisms and algorithms, it creates industrial dual-carbon know-how models, fully leveraging the key role of digitalization in achieving 'dual-carbon' goals and maximizing corporate energy and carbon efficiency.
Dai Haihua believes that the intelligent upgrade of future factories requires accelerating IT+OT integration. To this end, Gechuang East Intelligence will promote the establishment of two major strategic ecosystem alliances. First, actively building strategic cooperative ecosystem alliances with industrial control and digital transformation manufacturers to engage in deep collaboration and jointly serve the digital and intelligent upgrade of manufacturing. Second, creating an industry-education integration alliance, combining resources from 'government, industry, and academia' to inject fresh talent into the development of the future manufacturing ecosystem.
