On October 18, the 2023 SEMI China Semiconductor Supply Chain International Forum and SEMI China Membership Day were held in Shenzhen. The event gathered over 400 representatives from member companies to discuss the development of the semiconductor industry, the current state and future trends of industrial ecosystem construction. He Jun, Vice President of TCL Industries and CEO of Getech, was invited as the only representative from a member company to deliver a speech.

SEMI is the most influential global industry association for the semiconductor and electronics supply chain, with over 50 years of history and more than 2,700 member companies worldwide. SEMI China, adhering to the principles of globalization, professionalism, and localization, is committed to promoting the sustainable development of China's semiconductor industry, driving technological innovation and international cooperation, and building a secure, controllable, and globally compatible supply chain. In his speech, He Jun introduced that in recent years, TCL has gradually expanded from downstream terminals to upstream development. Its semiconductor chip industry chain includes smart terminals, semiconductor displays, semiconductor materials, chip design, semiconductor software, and more, covering almost all key segments. As a crucial part of TCL's semiconductor industry chain, Getech is dedicated to the research, development, and implementation of semiconductor smart manufacturing software and domestic industrial software, empowering the semiconductor industry chain with smart manufacturing and promoting its development.
"From TCL's full industry chain practice in semiconductors, we have summarized the following four insights." He Jun pointed out, first, adhere to long-termism, formulating development strategies with a long-term vision and building an ecosystem supply chain system; second, unswervingly follow the path of globalization, focusing on building core advantages in the global industry chain; third, emphasize talent cultivation, especially strengthening the construction of on-site engineer teams and cultivating compound talents who understand business scenarios and emerging technologies; fourth, continuously innovate. Taking Getech as an example, we constantly explore how to integrate IT and OT technologies, merge the perspectives of clients with the professional capabilities of service providers, thoroughly implement data governance, enhance data intelligence, and jointly promote smart manufacturing.

As a national cross-industry and cross-domain industrial internet platform originating from semiconductor manufacturing, Getech has built a fully domestic CIM integrated solution for semiconductor smart factories from a new perspective of "production-analysis-prediction," achieving transparent production execution, automated equipment management, efficient planning coordination, precise quality traceability, and logistics management. This helps semiconductor companies increase capacity, reduce losses, improve yield rates, and optimize production and process design. Currently, Getech has successfully served semiconductor industry clients such as SMIC, SAIC Infineon, Wuhan Xinxin, CRRC Zhuzhou, Yangjie Technology, and Li Auto-Siko Semiconductor. To further strengthen innovation in semiconductor smart manufacturing R&D, Getech has fully acquired the ownership of the source code for the semiconductor EAP software suite of Viscom, a globally top-tier company, in mainland China. This allows continuous absorption of global top-tier products, technologies, and resources, promoting Chinese semiconductor smart manufacturing solutions globally. Additionally, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Education, Getech has participated in initiating the Industrial Internet Industry-Education Integration Community. Leveraging its experience in semiconductor smart manufacturing, Getech collaborates with universities to provide semiconductor training platforms and experimental line construction, cultivating more frontline engineers for the semiconductor industry.
He Jun concluded by emphasizing that digitalization is a key means to navigate industry development cycles. Partners across the industry chain should strengthen data management and application, focus on data quality, improve consistency in data across supply chains, R&D, design, and other fields, and embrace digital technologies and methods to empower industrial development.
