"Field Engineer" Special Training Officially Launched! Getech and Nanjing Vocational University of Industry Technology Explore New Mechanisms for Industry-Education Integration
Recently, the opening ceremony of the Getech-Nanjing Vocational University of Industry Technology Industrial Internet Field Engineer Class was held at Nanjing Vocational University of Industry Technology. Representatives including Vice President Zhao Xusheng, Academic Affairs Director Hu Hong, Deputy Director of Industry-Education Integration Zhu Danning, Dean of the School of Information Engineering Chen Zhengdong, and Getech Education and Industrial Control Business General Manager Ren Xueliang, along with over 60 teachers and students of the "Field Engineer Class," attended the event, witnessing the official establishment of the "Field Engineer Class."
In the manufacturing industry, field engineers who understand both digital technology and production operations are regarded as the internal driving force for digital transformation.In October 2022, the Ministry of Education, together with five departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued a notice to launch the "Vocational Education Field Engineer Special Training Program."Aimed at addressing talent shortages in key digital and intelligent occupational scenarios, the program seeks to cultivate a large number of field engineers who are skilled in operation, understand processes, can manage, and innovate. By 2025, it is expected to train no fewer than 200,000 field engineers.
In May 2023, Getech passed the Ministry of Education's field engineer project review, thanks to its experienced industry expert faculty, curriculum highly aligned with job competency matrices, and a new model of industry-education integration focused on cultivating high-quality industrial geeks,and officially signed cooperation agreements with multiple vocational colleges to jointly advance the special training of field engineers.
Among these, the joint training project for field engineers in the electronic information category's computer class, conducted by Getech and Nanjing Vocational University of Industry Technology, has been selected by Jiangsu Province for the first batch of the Ministry of Education's Field Engineer Special Training Program.
The official launch of this field engineer training marks a new phase in the cooperation between Getech and Nanjing Vocational University of Industry Technology. Both parties will fully leverage the advantages of the school and the enterprise, elevating industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation to new heights, achieving a win-win situation for the school, enterprise, and students.
