AI for Real, GETECH Debuts at 2025 TCL Global Technology Innovation Conference

2025-12-12

On December 11th, the 2025 TCL Global Technology Innovation Conference (TIC2025), themed 'AI for Real', was grandly held in Guangzhou. As TCL's annual highest-standard global technology event, this conference gathered core technological achievements from TCL's various industries, showcasing future-oriented technology layouts. It attracted numerous guests including multiple academicians, industry top experts, and hundreds of industrial partners, to jointly discuss AI activating new momentum for industrial development.

The conference released ten major AI application scenario demonstration results, launched the TCL Global AI Talent Recruitment Plan, and shared prospects on multimodal vertical domain large models, AI empowering display material development, embodied intelligence, digital twins, and other cutting-edge AI applications. In 2025, TCL generated comprehensive benefits exceeding 1 billion yuan by promoting AI applications.

As an industrial AI leader incubated by TCL's strategy, GETECH presented technological innovations and practical achievements of industrial AI in advanced manufacturing globally at TIC2025 through keynote speeches, major awards, and booth demonstrations. TCL Industrial Vice President and GETECH CEO He Jun, in a keynote speech titled 'The Path of AI and Industrial Software Integration Development,' profoundly elaborated on the development trends and practical paths of deep integration between AI and industrial software and hardware.

He pointed out that industrial AI integration has entered a 'deep-water zone,' urgently needing to address core challenges such as data silos, fragmented demands, and system-business disconnections. Based on practical experience accumulated from over 150 AI projects in scenarios like production, quality, energy and carbon, and logistics automation, He Jun summarized the dual-drive of 'system integration optimization' and 'algorithm innovation' for AI implementation, relying on three key strategies: global planning, 'human-machine collaboration, and gradual evolution,' to promote system integration towards intelligence.

He Jun illustrated his viewpoints with various cases. In the AI+quality field, GETECH uses AI algorithms like machine learning to help engineers quickly locate anomalies, identify root causes, and predict defects, empowering companies to achieve ultimate yield rates. In the AI+energy and carbon field, GETECH leverages energy and carbon vertical large models to manage factory water, electricity, gas energy, and facilities like power systems and HVAC in real-time, building a smart brain as the factory's 'heart and lungs' and 'nerve center,' cumulatively reducing consumption by over 200 million and carbon emissions by 350,000 tons. In the AI+AMHS field, GETECH uses operational optimization algorithms to enhance AMHS scheduling, intelligently analyze optimal handling paths, and maximize semiconductor factory transportation efficiency. In the AI+production control field, GETECH's T-work project for TCL CSOT overcame the fragmented systems in most Chinese manufacturing enterprises, enabling cross-departmental business process streamlining and reconstruction. In an AI project transformation for a leading agricultural and livestock enterprise, GETECH unified the planning of AI algorithm models from the bottom-up, reformed the existing APS system, and integrated it with CRM and ERP systems, achieving cross-system integration and parallel algorithm overlay. It is through these diverse projects that GETECH has developed the ability to integrate AI with industrial software and hardware into tangible benefits. In this process, He Jun emphasized that understanding manufacturing scenarios and accumulating industry know-how are more critical than pure AI technology itself.

He Jun further pointed out that the deep coupling of AI technology with manufacturing scenarios requires a five-step closed-loop path for successful implementation: 'demand analysis - data engineering - model development - engineering implementation - continuous optimization.' He believes that the deep integration of AI with industrial software and hardware is a battle of ecosystem collaboration, requiring deep integration of industrial scene demands, research institute explorations, academic theoretical innovations, and service provider engineering capabilities to cultivate a composite gene of 'understanding AI, software, equipment, and manufacturing scenarios,' truly building a solid and reliable intelligent decision-making foundation for Chinese manufacturing.

With long-term practical experience in TCL's world-class factories, GETECH has formed comprehensive self-capabilities covering AI technology, industrial software, and smart devices, continuously building a globally leading industrial artificial intelligence system.

One of the conference's highlights was the TCL CSOT Manufacturing FAB AGENT Project, Semiconductor Wafer Defect Inspection Machine Project, and Semiconductor Material Auto SMI AI Project, jointly developed by GETECH with TCL CSOT, TCL TZE, and Zhonghuan Advanced, which won the TCL AI Application Innovation Gold Award, TCL Technology Innovation Second Prize, and TCL Technology Innovation Growth Award, respectively. Among them, the Semiconductor Wafer Defect Inspection Machine Project, jointly led by GETECH and TCL TZE, focused on silicon wafer defect detection scenarios, using innovative technologies like high-precision adaptive imaging, AI detection, and automated inspection systems to improve equipment operation and product reliability. Compared to manual visual inspection, the project increased equipment shipment yield by 50%, significantly reduced scrap rates, achieved sustainable resource use, and set a benchmark breakthrough in the domestic industry.

GETECH has consistently released major achievements at the TCL Technology Innovation Conference for years, continuously serving as a core technology engine for TCL's AI strategy and global manufacturing system intelligent upgrade. From production, equipment, quality, energy and carbon, logistics, to factory-level vertical large models, knowledge engineering, and industrial software system reconstruction, GETECH continually advances AI technological achievements from the laboratory to the factory frontlines, transforming them into deployable, sustainable productivity.

At the 2025 milestone, TIC is not only GETECH's annual showcase but also a systematic statement as a representative Chinese industrial AI enterprise facing the industry's future. GETECH always believes that in the wave of industrial intelligence, true core competitiveness stems from deep industry understanding, self-built software and hardware systems, and continuous business value output. Based on profound on-site manufacturing experience and original capabilities, GETECH is committed to building a sustainable, evolving intelligent future for TCL and Chinese manufacturing, accelerating high-quality development and enhancing global competitiveness.
