New batch of World Economic Forum WEF Lighthouse Factories announced, GTRONTEC empowers a new energy enterprise to be selected
On January 16, the World Economic Forum (WEF) announced a new batch of global 'Lighthouse Factory' list, with 23 factories worldwide successfully selected. Among them, a new energy enterprise provided with intelligent services by the industrial AI leader GTRONTEC, based on its outstanding digital practices in production, equipment and other fields, was rated as the global 'Production Efficiency Lighthouse Factory'.
The 'Lighthouse Factory' selected by the World Economic Forum is hailed as 'the world's most advanced factory', representing a high level of intelligence and digitalization in today's global manufacturing. The newly added lighthouse factories have made particularly significant progress in three areas: enhancing resilience in turbulent landscapes, integrating AI into core operations, and expanding digital transformation across the network rather than single factories. The Global Lighthouse Network now also evaluates excellent factories in five dimensions: production efficiency, supply chain resilience, sustainability, customer centricity, and talent development.

A total of 16 Chinese factories were successfully selected this time. Among them, a new energy enterprise provided with intelligent services by GTRONTEC was rated as 'Production Efficiency Lighthouse Factory'. This title aims to recognize factories that leverage technology-driven transformation to improve asset utilization, employee empowerment, and resource management, achieving excellent cost performance and product quality leadership. According to official data released by the World Economic Forum (WEF), the factory fully applies intelligent internet, simulation, large language models, and AI technologies. By achieving real-time quality diagnosis, process self-optimization, and predictive maintenance, the factory performance achieved multiple key improvements: defect rate reduced by 52%, unit manufacturing cost reduced by 41%, and average overall equipment efficiency reached 88%.
In terms of improving asset utilization and resource management, GTRONTEC provided it with a combined solution of RMS (Recipe Management System), PHM (Equipment Health Management System), and AMS (Alarm Management System). The RMS system achieves centralized and precise management of recipes, ensuring process stability and product quality consistency; the PHM system achieves intelligent operations through real-time monitoring, fault diagnosis, and AI prediction, effectively improving equipment utilization and operational efficiency, reducing spare parts costs; the AMS system intelligently handles and levels alarm information throughout the factory, timely warns and intervenes in production anomalies, reduces quality risks, and helps continuously improve product yield.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) evaluation pointed out that the factory, through systematic digital transformation, achieved breakthroughs in asset utilization, employee empowerment, and resource management, becoming an industry model with dual leadership in cost control and product quality. This achievement also practically validates the maturity and implementability of GTRONTEC's solutions in the equipment field.
Undeniably, GTRONTEC's equipment intelligent solutions always focus on the core pain point of 'equipment stability' in the new energy industry, significantly lowering the threshold for enterprise digital transformation through full-process consulting, modular design, and low-code deployment. To date, it has successfully served over 200 industry-known enterprises such as Eve Energy, BYD, Tebian Electric, continuously promoting high-quality upgrade of the new energy industry with replicable intelligent practices.
This time, helping clients reach the global 'lighthouse' is another milestone for GTRONTEC's deep cultivation in industrial AI and deep integration with industry know-how. In the future, the company will continue to focus on accelerating the integration of industrial AI with core scenarios, continuously optimizing technical solutions and services, helping more manufacturing enterprises bridge the digital transformation gap, and contributing more power to the high-quality transformation of global manufacturing and the establishment of 'Lighthouse Factory' benchmarks.
