Peking University NSD Entrepreneurs AI Class Visits Gtrontec, Exploring Industrial AI Implementation
On February 8th, the Peking University NSD Entrepreneurs AI Class visited Gtrontec for a field tour and thematic discussion on manufacturing digitalization and AI applications. The entrepreneurs first explored Gtrontec's Industrial Intelligent Innovation Base, gaining a systematic understanding of its product service system, typical industry application scenarios, and benchmark cases in smart manufacturing and industrial AI, directly experiencing the real-world implementation forms of AI technology in manufacturing sites.
Professor Hou Hong, Assistant Professor of Management at Peking University NSD, Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, and core lecturer of the Entrepreneurs AI Class, elevated the discussion from an academic and strategic perspective. He systematically elaborated on the three pillars of successful digital transformation—strategic guidance, organizational delivery, and technological enablement. He pointed out that at the strategic level, it is essential to answer 'why transform'—whether it is for cost reduction and efficiency improvement or to reshape the business model; at the organizational level, endogenous digital capabilities must be built and embedded into the organizational DNA to deliver value; at the technological level, scientific selection should be based on scenario matching. The systemic framework formed by these three pillars provides clear guidance for enterprises to avoid transformation pitfalls and achieve sustainable change.

This visit and exchange not only deepened the understanding of the Peking University NSD entrepreneurs regarding industrial AI and digital transformation paths but also showcased Gtrontec's practical depth and platform value in the field of industrial AI.
