Gtrontec Debuts at Wuhan "AI‑Empowered Smart Manufacturing" Promotion Conference, Forging a New Paradigm of Smart Manufacturing with Industrial AI
On August 7, the "Friday Appointment" 2026 Session 2 (Session 246 in total) — "AI+ Empowering Intelligent Manufacturing" Wuhan New Type Intelligent Transformation Promotion Conference was held at Xiaomi Wuhan Intelligent Factory in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone. Hosted by Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the event gathered over a hundred leaders from district economic and information departments, manufacturing enterprise representatives, and industry experts to observe in person the benchmark of AI-enabled manufacturing and explore new paths for digital and intelligent transformation. Yang Li, Marketing Director of Gtrontec, was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech titled "From 'Seeing' to 'Acting': AI Creating a New Paradigm of Intelligent Manufacturing", sharing practical explorations of industrial AI driving the intelligent upgrade of manufacturing.
At the event, Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Xiaomi Wuhan Intelligent Factory, Gtrontec, and Hubei Saisheng Technology (under the First Electronic Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) and other units delivered special sharing on AI empowering industrial upgrading. A relevant official from the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology said that the deep integration of AI and manufacturing is a path that every enterprise must take. Visiting benchmark factories allows enterprises to go to the front line and feel the wave of the times.
During the Gtrontec sharing session, regarding whether AI has truly entered the industrial site, Yang Li pointed out that with the rapid development of LLM large language model capabilities, AI is evolving from an information processing tool to an intelligent decision-making partner. However, industrial manufacturing scenarios impose higher requirements on real-time performance, accuracy, safety, and business closed-loop capability. General large models cannot be directly applied to complex production environments. Industrial AI implementation needs to address multiple challenges such as data, knowledge, engineering, and system collaboration.
To solve the core challenges in industrial AI implementation, Yang Li proposed that enterprises need to build a Harness Engineering industrial-grade agent engineering framework for industrial scenarios, to solve the key problems faced by large models entering the production site. This framework includes enterprise context access, industrial know-how integration, collaboration between large and small models, agent collaborative scheduling, and industrial-grade security and operations guarantee, enabling AI to truly have the ability to understand industry, execute tasks, and continuously optimize.
In the speech, Yang Li further introduced the technical roadmap architecture built by Gtrontec for industrial AI implementation. Based on industrial software and centered on agent orchestration and execution capabilities, the architecture integrates large models, small models, industrial mechanism models, and enterprise knowledge systems to achieve a complete closed loop from equipment perception, data understanding, intelligent decision-making to task execution, promoting AI from auxiliary analysis to autonomous action.
As the core hub of the industrial AI technical architecture, Gtrontec's Octopus Brain (Zhangyu Zhinao) industrial intelligent decision-making hub, located at the industrial ontology layer, connects enterprise data, knowledge bases, industrial software systems, and agent capabilities to build an industrial intelligent system integrating perception, analysis, decision-making, and execution. Relying on the Octopus Brain, enterprises can consolidate production experience, process knowledge, and business rules into AI-comprehensible and callable capability assets, and use Gtrontec's independently controllable multi-agent collaboration for various business scenarios such as production, equipment, quality, energy-carbon, logistics, and supply chain to complete complex industrial tasks, realizing a transformation from people searching for data and manual analysis to AI proactive perception, intelligent analysis and decision-making, and collaborative execution.
Focusing on actual industrial scenarios, Gtrontec has promoted the implementation of industrial agents in fields such as semiconductors, semiconductor display, new energy photovoltaics, 3C electronics, and automobiles. In a practice at a semiconductor manufacturing enterprise, Gtrontec built an AI Auto-pilot decision hub for the semiconductor factory based on the CIM system, achieving closed-loop management of anomaly monitoring, automatic dispatch, root cause analysis, handling decisions, and continuous feedback through centralized abnormal event management, AI intelligent analysis, and cross-system linkage. After the project went live, the closure time for major anomalies was reduced from several hours to 0.5 hours, cross-system collaboration efficiency improved from 2 hours to 1 minute, and annual anomaly losses were reduced by more than 8 million yuan.
Participating in this Wuhan "AI+ Empowering Intelligent Manufacturing" promotion event is an important practice for Gtrontec to actively respond to the strategy of AI empowering new industrialization. In the future, Gtrontec will continue to promote the deep integration of industrial know-how and AI technology, accelerate the application of industrial agents in more manufacturing scenarios, help manufacturing enterprises cross the "last mile" of intelligent upgrading, and jointly move toward a new era of industrial AI.
