GETECH Attends 2018 China Manufacturing Innovation Conference, Open Integration Facilitates Manufacturing Transformation and Upgrading
On September 18, He Jun, Vice President of TCL Group and CEO of GETECH, attended the 2018 China Manufacturing Innovation Conference and delivered a speech.
The conference, themed "Openness, Cooperation, Innovation, Development," focused on building a manufacturing innovation ecosystem spanning the innovation industry chain and the construction of manufacturing innovation centers. Li Xi, Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Miao Wei, Minister of Industry and Information Technology, and Ma Xingrui, Governor of Guangdong Province, attended the conference. The event also featured the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Guangdong Provincial Government for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as the inauguration ceremony of the China Manufacturing Innovation Alliance. Li Dongsheng, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of TCL Group, was elected as the first Chairman of the China Manufacturing Innovation Alliance.
At the conference, He Jun delivered a keynote speech titled "Integration and Openness: Unleashing the Innovation Potential of Manufacturing," introducing TCL's strategic layout and implementation in "Manufacturing x AI," and sharing TCL Group's experience in "integrated development."
He emphasized: "Manufacturing innovation is crucial to TCL's future. Key themes such as the implementation of new technologies, integration of business and technology, interdisciplinary integration, and intelligent applications represent both new challenges and opportunities for manufacturing transformation and upgrading." Compared to product and technological innovation, innovation in manufacturing itself is more challenging. To unleash the innovation potential of manufacturing, an open mindset and mechanisms are needed to manage the integration of internal and external resources, cross-disciplinary talents, and business and technology. Only with the mindset and capability of "integrated development" can the manufacturing industry find a path to digital, informational, and intelligent transformation and upgrading.
