Getech Invited to Attend the 20th CHTF China High-Tech Forum
On November 14, 2018, the 20th China International High-Tech Fair (CHTF) grandly opened at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. As an important part of the fair, the 'China High-Tech Forum' was held from the 14th to the 16th. Themed 'Adhering to the New Development Concept and Promoting High-Quality Development,' the forum invited Nobel laureates, renowned domestic and foreign experts and scholars, senior government officials, and leaders of well-known enterprises to provide comprehensive insights into hot topics such as technological revolution and global industrial transformation trends, China's technological innovation, international technological cooperation, artificial intelligence, and quantum communication.
Dr. Wang Jin, TCL Group Solutions Expert and Chief Architect of Getech, was invited to attend the China High-Tech Forum and delivered a keynote speech titled 'Evolving Towards Smart Manufacturing - The Direction and Path of Smart Industrial Development' at the forum's Future Technology Summit.
Wang Jin stated that the core of the Industrial Internet is data-driven intelligence formed through comprehensive connectivity. Based on the network, data, and security of the Industrial Internet, four optimization closed loops will be constructed for industrial intelligent development: the closed loop for machine and equipment operation optimization, the closed loop for production operation optimization, the closed loop for enterprise collaboration, and the closed loop for user and product service optimization in the market. Wang Jin believes that these four closed loops are not simply isolated but are interconnected and mutually reinforcing. The interconnectivity of machines and equipment and the comprehensive integration of production operation systems lay a solid foundation for the data flow and collaboration required for enterprise cooperation and user interaction.
Using a project Getech is implementing at a liquid crystal panel factory as an example, Wang Jin shared the practical application of visual inspection xAI in smart manufacturing. By extracting product images through AOI intelligent equipment and performing intelligent image recognition, the ADC system uses artificial intelligence and big data technology for automatic defect classification. This approach not only reduces labor costs but also significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of product defect detection, enhancing overall corporate benefits. Through mature smart manufacturing solutions, the industry is equipped with its own eyes and brain.
Regarding the future development trends of smart manufacturing, Wang Jin believes that the evolution of smart manufacturing solutions has four levels: first, intelligent connectivity, with real-time data driving edge intelligence; second, intelligent equipment, integrating traditional automation with artificial intelligence; third, intelligent production, leveraging massive data to mine potential intelligence; and fourth, intelligent applications, with algorithms and models precipitating mature intelligence. Through these four levels of evolution, real-time analysis, state recognition, precise execution, autonomous decision-making, and learning enhancement in manufacturing processes are gradually achieved, ultimately realizing the goal of smart manufacturing.
