Industrial Internet is an important cornerstone of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, continuously颠覆ing traditional manufacturing models, production organization methods, and industrial forms globally, accelerating the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the development of emerging industries. 5G is a new generation of information and communication technology, a high ground for global科技 and industry competition. "5G+Industrial Internet" will give rise to全新的 industrial production formats, becoming a new engine for driving high-quality development of the industrial economy.

The recently released "5G+Industrial Internet" 512 Project Promotion Plan by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology明确 that by 2022, a batch of 5G key technologies for specific needs of Industrial Internet will be突破. The "512" project involves completing 5 major categories and 12 key Industrial Internet projects,全力 promoting the integration and innovation of 5G and Industrial Internet.

The network system is the foundation of Industrial Internet. 5G's large bandwidth, low latency, and high reliability make it an important support for the construction of Industrial Internet network system. 5G's new network architecture adopts cloud-native design, significantly enhancing the intelligent networking service (NaaS) capability of Industrial Internet, supporting industrial enterprises to establish 5G virtual private networks, integrating network capabilities across multiple links and entire processes such as R&D design, production制造, operation management, marketing, and after-sales service, improving network resource utilization efficiency, and reducing enterprise network operation and maintenance costs. Subsequent enhanced versions of 5G will also provide high-frequency communication, satellite access, high-precision positioning, and support for time-sensitive networks, specifically enhancing capabilities for industrial precision control and wide-area coverage.

"5G+Industrial Internet" application scenarios贯穿 the entire process of industrial manufacturing, covering supply chain management, AGV, flexible manufacturing, production process control, machine协作, inventory management, product delivery management, and other links. The integrated application of "5G+Industrial Internet" will significantly reduce enterprise operation costs, improve production efficiency, optimize manufacturing resource allocation, enhance product高端化, equipment高端化, and production智能化 levels, promote the manufacturing industry to achieve quality and效益 improvement, industrial structure optimization, development mode transformation, and growth动力转换, providing strong guarantees for building an industrial economic system.

In the chemical industry, the 5G industrial data acquisition and control system jointly built by Zhejiang Mobile, ZTE, Zhejiang Zhong控, and Xin'an Chemical was successfully launched, conducting application tests based on 5G such as instrument wireless减辎 upgrade, AR remote maintenance, cutting tool intelligent control, and industrial visual quality inspection. In the machinery industry, ZTE and Shandong Unicom helped Shandong Lingong Group successfully demonstrate the 5G remote control excavator operation project, connecting the site to the remote control room via Unicom's 5G network to实时 control unmanned excavators in the mining area and同步 transmit real作业 scenes and panoramic video live. In aircraft manufacturing, COMAC built a batch of 5G industrial application scenarios, using 5G+8K video to detect production installation defects and 5G+AR to assist aircraft assembly, effectively improving aircraft production and development efficiency. In the power industry, China Southern Power Grid used 5G to carry power grid distribution services, completed the country's first field test based on 5G smart grid, and will actively pilot 5G serving various typical power grid business scenarios such as metering automation, emergency communication, and distributed energy regulation,全面提升 grid智能化 level.

Industrial Internet data is the core resource flowing between the network, platform, and security function systems of Industrial Internet. 5G will become the highway for Industrial Internet data flow, promoting the comprehensive interconnection of all factors in manufacturing such as data, labor, technology, capital, and market, and the high coordination of the entire industrial chain上下游 including supply chain, innovation chain, service chain, logistics chain, and financial chain, shifting from value point migration to value network共生, accelerating data as a production factor to全面提升 the value of the Industrial Internet industry chain, achieving precise对接 and real-time matching between supply and demand sides, and构筑 a digital, networked, and intelligent new production manufacturing and service system.
