Today, the results of the "2020 China (Tianjin) Industrial APP Innovation Application Competition" were grandly announced. TCL Getech (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd. won the championship with its innovative model and strong capabilities. The competition, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government, saw fierce competition over more than two months. The judging panel comprehensively evaluated the technical innovation, application prospects, and enterprise development of the participating Industrial APPs, ultimately awarding the top prize to TCL Getech (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Getech").

Industrial technology softwareization is of great strategic significance for promoting the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry and achieving independent controllability. How to develop domestic Industrial APPs has become a focus of attention in industry, academia, and research. The China (Tianjin) Industrial APP Innovation Application Competition has been held for three consecutive years since 2018,with nearly 10,000 companies and teams participating cumulatively, gathering outstanding Industrial APP solutions from various industries nationwide, uniting a group of leading industry enterprises, and assembling top experts from universities and research institutes. It has developed into an important platform for industry-academia-research collaboration in the field of industrial technology softwareization. 

Getech's entry, "Rapid Development and Application Solution for Industrial Robot Remote Real-Time Operation and Maintenance APP," originated from insights during the pandemic. Industrial robots are widely used in factories. For example, in fully automated semiconductor liquid crystal panel production, industrial robots are busy in over 200 processes. Companies spend 20% of the robot's purchase price annually to ensure normal operation. The pandemic prevented equipment service providers from performing on-site maintenance, and companies could not open their production networks for remote maintenance. This left production line industrial robots in a "naked" state for a long time, posing significant risks to production.

Facing these challenges, Getech developed the "Industrial Robot Remote Real-Time Operation and Maintenance APP" system to address sudden operation and maintenance issues, enabling intelligent online operation and maintenance throughout the industrial robot's lifecycle. Based on Getech's "Dongzhi Industrial Application Intelligent Platform," using low-code, drag-and-drop graphical development methods,the APP was launched in just 40% of the industry's average development cycle.

Industrial APPs are important achievements of industrial technology softwareization and a key factor in forming the core competitiveness of industrial internet platforms.
