In the past, on LCD panel production lines, industrial defect detection largely relied on manual judgment. There was a dedicated department where employees stared at computer images, using their eyes to judge the results photographed by AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) equipment, classifying defects based on their morphology to determine whether quality met standards.
This process often faced several challenges: first, recruitment was particularly difficult, and personnel training took time; second, the stability of manual judgment accuracy had room for improvement.
With the introduction of ADC, the situation has changed significantly. The ADC system uses the latest technologies such as big data, AI deep learning, and machine vision to compare product images with a known defect image library. Through advanced algorithm models, it intelligently detects defect types, automatically analyzes abnormalities, and provides solutions. By integrating this system with existing inspection processes, the solution can be quickly launched and operated. The ADC application can increase comprehensive benefits for TCL CSOT by 15 million yuan annually.
In addition, the R2R (Run-to-Run Control) extreme quality control solution is another 'blockbuster' product independently developed and refined by Gechuang East Intelligence to address the difficulty of improving semiconductor production quality. It won second place nationally in the 2020 Second China Industrial Internet Competition.
Semiconductor batch processes are considered the most complex high-tech processes today. Due to their complex process steps, highly reentrant processes, and difficulties in real-time quality control, improving semiconductor production yield is very challenging.
To address this issue, Gechuang East Intelligence's R2R solution uses data from the production environment (Industrial Internet) and on-site measurements (sampling inspection & virtual measurement). It employs data-driven, feedback control, and local optimization methods to compensate for production process disturbances and improve production quality. Currently, the solution has been deployed in key processes such as evaporation and exposure at TCL CSOT's Wuhan t3 and t4 factories, significantly reducing production variations and expected to increase corporate revenue by millions of yuan annually.
