On August 11, 2021, to thoroughly implement the requirements of documents such as the 'State Council's Guiding Opinions on Deepening the Development of Industrial Internet through Internet+Advanced Manufacturing' and 'Guiding Opinions on Strengthening Industrial Internet Security Work', orderly promote the pilot work of industrial internet enterprise network security classification and grading management, fully understand the progress and issues in pilot provinces and related enterprises, and accelerate the establishment of an industrial internet enterprise network security classification and grading management system, the MIIT Cybersecurity Administration held a teleconference on the pilot work of industrial internet enterprise network security classification and grading management in Beijing.

Deputy Director Tao Qing of the MIIT Cybersecurity Administration, relevant responsible comrades from the industry and information technology authorities and communications administrations of Guangdong, Fujian, Guangxi, and Xinjiang provinces (autonomous regions), representatives from pilot enterprises, and responsible comrades from units such as the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology attended the meeting.

The meeting invited representatives from 8 enterprises in industries such as steel, automotive, electronics, chemicals, and industrial internet. This pilot focuses on industrial internet enterprise network security classification and grading, strengthening differentiated and refined management, promoting enterprises to implement network security主体责任, improving network security protection capabilities and levels, and thereby promoting high-quality development of industrial internet.
