In December 2021, the 'Shanghai Industrial Park Transformation and Upgrading 14th Five-Year Plan' was released. The plan states that industrial parks, as important carriers for promoting the 'Shanghai Manufacturing' brand and enhancing the real economy, are core strategic carriers and innovation platforms for cultivating new industrial momentum and reflecting urban competitiveness. It encourages all parties to focus on the 'dual-wheel drive' of digital industrialization and industrial digitalization to empower excellent park construction.
Against the backdrop of favorable policies and a new round of changes in the global economic development pattern, park digital upgrade has entered an acceleration period. Building core competitiveness of the park industry chain, deeply promoting park industrial structure adjustment and upgrade, and shaping distinctive park brands have become major trends.
02 What is the relationship between industrial internet and industrial parks?
As the main carrier for deep integration of digital economy and real economy, industrial internet connects the park's physical world, virtual information world, and park personnel, serving as a key driver for promoting park digitalization.
Domestic traditional comprehensive parks face management difficulties such as difficult safety management, high management costs, and low efficiency. These internal factors are driving parks to use digital means to improve quality, reduce costs, increase efficiency, accelerate management upgrade, and enhance operational levels.

Digitalization is not the ultimate goal but to better serve and guide manufacturing, operations, management, etc.
Promote industry chain coordination and accelerate common development. Building an industrial internet platform in the park is significant for the coordinated and integrated development of enterprises of different sizes in the industry chain.
