GETECH Selected as One of MIIT's '2022 Cross-Industry and Cross-Domain Industrial Internet Platforms'
On May 5, the list of "2022 New Cross-Industry and Cross-Domain Industrial Internet Platforms" (hereinafter referred to as dual-cross platforms) selected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) was officially announced. Fourteen industrial internet enterprises representing the highest national level, including GETECH, Baidu, and Meiyun Zhishu, were included in the list. GETECH stood out with its outstanding comprehensive strength and selection performance, ranking among the top.
As an industrial internet platform enterprise strategically incubated by TCL, GETECH obtained this national-level certification on its first application, fully demonstrating the overall strength of the Dongzhi Industrial Application Intelligent Platform (hereinafter referred to as the Dongzhi Platform). It also marks the official emergence of China's only national dual-cross platform originating from the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
Dual-Cross Platform: National-Level Industry Leadership
The selection of dual-cross platforms is organized by the MIIT. As industrial internet platforms evolve from the popularization phase to the effectiveness demonstration phase, this year's dual-cross application requirements have become more detailed, with higher standards in areas such as solution supply capability, empowerment effectiveness across industries and domains, and platform social contribution.
Under these stricter selection criteria, the Dongzhi Platform, developed based on TCL's over 40 years of advanced manufacturing experience and oriented towards industrial sites, stood out. It has become one of the preferred industrial internet platforms for leading manufacturing enterprises across various industries and one of the fastest platforms for replication and promotion among enterprises of different industries and scales.
As one of the most globally competitive smart technology industry groups, TCL's three core businesses—semiconductor display, new energy photovoltaics and semiconductor materials, and smart terminals—provide the Dongzhi Platform with rich industrial application scenarios. This has honed its capabilities in edge intelligence, cloud-edge collaboration, massive data processing, complex model construction and management, and industrial application development, covering continuous, discrete, and hybrid manufacturing models.
As of the list's release, the Dongzhi Platform has accumulated nearly 30,000 industrial models and over 10,000 industrial apps. In terms of empowerment effectiveness, GETECH has served more than 20细分 industries, including semiconductors, new energy, 3C electronics, home appliances, petrochemicals, and aerospace. It has successfully created benchmark cases for industry leaders such as TCL Huaxing Optoelectronics, TCL Industries, Huahong Huali, ASML, CRRC Semiconductor, Guide Infrared, Luxshare Precision, Changdian Shaoxing, Congshen, CITIC Mobile Communications, and Wuhan Steel维尔卡, covering nine major areas including production manufacturing, quality control, operational management, and energy conservation.
Post Dual-Cross: Continuous Innovation to Support Manufacturing Power
The "dual-cross platform" is a national strategy focused on building China's digital economy infrastructure and effectively supporting the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. Bearing this significant mission, GETECH will continue to lead exploration through internal and external integration.
Focus on R&D to lead technological innovation. Technology is the cornerstone of enterprise development. Only by continuously applying cutting-edge technologies to industrial sites can industrial internet technology companies enhance their competitiveness and autonomy through sustained innovation. Over the next five years, GETECH will invest over 2 billion yuan in R&D and promotion for key technologies such as edge intelligence, AI, and digital twins. It will collaborate with TCL Industrial Research Institute, international leading companies, and research institutions to continuously improve the technical support and empowerment capabilities of the Dongzhi Platform.
Actively build a platform ecosystem. GETECH will expand and lead ecological construction in three aspects: building vertical industrial internet platforms for key industries, establishing vertical industry生态合作伙伴 alliances and developer "Nebula Plan," and creating an industry-education integration ecosystem. The "Nebula Plan" will provide individual OT developers with a free geek workshop zero-code development platform, while enterprise developers will have access to the G-POROS cloud-native microservices application low-code development platform, empowering both individual and enterprise developers with technology and resources.
Support the strengthening and supplementing of two major industry chains. GETECH will strategically support the "strengthening and supplementing" of the泛半导体 and new energy industry chains—promoting networked collaboration and intelligent production among upstream and downstream enterprises, assisting in the自主可控 of core systems in these two industry chains, and continuously investing in the localization of key "bottleneck" industrial software.
Support "dual-carbon" goals. GETECH will accelerate the R&D iteration of smart energy, carbon management, and green smart park management platforms, providing the manufacturing industry with rich green intelligent manufacturing solutions to reduce energy usage costs, achieve green energy transformation, and explore paths for technological innovation to drive new development动能.
Precisely empower industrial cluster development. GETECH will deeply cultivate four major regions: Central China, Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, forming a "four-in-one" regional pattern. It will use innovative technology to promote the development of local characteristic regional industrial clusters and actively empower small and medium-sized enterprises.
Build自主可控 smart factory solutions. GETECH will accelerate breakthroughs in key core technologies and achieve the localization of core industrial software.
