Dongzhi Platform is a national-level dual-cross platform originating from semiconductor manufacturing and empowering a wide range of manufacturing industries. TCL's three major industries—semiconductor display, semiconductor materials, new energy photovoltaics, and smart terminals—provide rich application scenarios for Dongzhi Platform's development. Particularly, the semiconductor industry, regarded as the "crown" of high-end manufacturing, features complex processes, high reliability requirements, and massive data with challenging analysis. Dongzhi Platform has undergone rigorous testing in semiconductor manufacturing scenarios, forming three core advantages.
Advantage 1: Large-scale, high-value, multi-type industrial equipment connectivity, supporting tens of millions of industrial device connections;
Advantage 2: High-frequency, massive, heterogeneous industrial big data processing, analysis, and modeling capabilities, with nearly 30,000 industrial models accumulated on the platform;
Advantage 3: Secure, efficient, controllable industrial application development, deployment, and operation support capabilities, with low-code enabling over 30% improvement in APP development efficiency.
As of 2022, Dongzhi Platform has covered 22 sub-sectors including pan-semiconductor, new energy, 3C electronics, home appliances, petrochemicals, aerospace, etc., with solutions spanning 9 major areas such as production manufacturing, quality control, operations management, and energy conservation.
Over the next 5 years, GETECH will invest over 2 billion yuan in R&D and promotion for key technologies such as edge intelligence, AI, and digital twins, collaborating with TCL Industrial Research Institute, top international companies, and research institutions to continuously enhance Dongzhi Platform's technical support and empowerment capabilities.

Dongzhi Platform has become one of the preferred industrial internet platforms for leading manufacturing enterprises in some vertical industries, one of the fastest platforms for cross-industry replication and promotion, and a leading industrial internet platform empowering industrial parks and global clients.
GETECH collaborates with industry leaders to explore new business models. For example, its partnership with ConsenSys to build a petrochemical industrial internet platform helps transition from traditional one-time equipment sales to a model including spare parts and service sales.
