Wuhan's Decade | He Jun, Vice President of TCL Industries and CEO of Getech Dongzhi: Assisting Wuhan in Building an Advanced Manufacturing Base
Wuhan is one of the birthplaces of modern industry in China and an important national industrial base. On September 27, the sixth session of the 'Wuhan's Decade' series of situation and policy report meetings was held. Yang Xiangwei, Party Secretary and Director of Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Academician Ding Han of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and representatives from various fields of Wuhan industry recounted the past decade of Wuhan's industry.
It is reported that the 'Wuhan's Decade' series of situation and policy report meetings is an important part of the mass thematic propaganda and education activity 'Strong Country Rejuvenation with Me, Forge Ahead Heroic City' organized by Wuhan to welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, comprehensively showcasing the major achievements in Wuhan's economic and social development over the past decade under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
As an outstanding enterprise representative promoting Wuhan's industrial intelligent transformation, He Jun, Vice President of TCL Industries and CEO of Getech Dongzhi, was invited to attend the report meeting and delivered an important report on the theme 'Forging the Power of Innovation: Pioneering in Wuhan's Intelligent Transformation and Digitalization Wave', combining the practices of TCL and Getech Dongzhi, on how to assist Wuhan's industrial intelligent development through the application of innovative technologies.
'Visionary entrepreneurs must use new technological means to accelerate change and seize opportunities in changes such as global industrial chain restructuring and the ongoing global pandemic.' He Jun said, the application of new technologies enables enterprises to control more data, thereby avoiding future risks and making better strategic judgments. In addition, by applying new technologies, it can help enterprises have more elastic and flexible production and planning capabilities, which is the core capability of Industry 4.0.
In recent years, many provinces across the country have formulated differentiated intelligent transformation and digitalization development paths based on local industrial characteristics. In 2019, Wuhan launched the 'Three-Year Action Plan for Industrial Intelligent Transformation', aiming to achieve full coverage of intelligent transformation diagnosis for above-scale enterprises through three years of effort, promoting the high-quality development of Wuhan's industrial transformation and upgrading. In this selection, Getech Dongzhi became one of the first five intelligent transformation service providers selected. In 2022, Getech Dongzhi was selected into the list of 14 'Cross-Industry Cross-Domain Industrial Internet Platforms' chosen by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, becoming a national-level 'Dual-Cross' platform originating from Hubei.

He Jun introduced, Getech Dongzhi, relying on its own Dongzhi platform, has built a Central China regional intelligent transformation and digitalization platform based on hybrid cloud deployment, providing integrated services from consultation to system implementation. Currently, Getech Dongzhi has served over 50 large and medium-sized enterprises such as Wuhan China Star Optoelectronics, Gaode Infrared, CITIC Mobile Communications, Wuhan Steel Wire Rope, etc., helping enterprises win titles such as Wuhan's Benchmark Smart Factory, Intelligent Transformation Demonstration Project, and Intelligent Production Line.
Looking to the future, He Jun said, Getech Dongzhi will provide supporting strength for Hubei's冲刺 towards a trillion-level 'Optics, Chip, Screen, Device, Network' industrial cluster digitalization, by establishing a platform ecosystem and cooperating with various forces to make Wuhan a demonstration area for China's manufacturing digital transformation. Getech Dongzhi will also increase efforts in cultivating new manufacturing talents in Wuhan, maximizing the release and stimulation of innovation and creativity.
