Hubei Provincial CPPCC Chairman Sun Wei Visits Hubei Getech for Research
On the afternoon of November 15, Hubei Provincial CPPCC Chairman Sun Wei, along with other leaders including He Wen, Director of the Hubei Provincial CPPCC General Office; Yan Xiaoping, Deputy Director of the Research Office; Liu Haijun, Director of the Hubei Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology; and Lü Xiaohua, Deputy Director, visited the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone. They inspected Hubei Getech Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Getech") and Wuhan China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., conducting in-depth research on enterprise production and operation, innovation breakthroughs in the smart manufacturing field, and the development and growth of the industrial chain.
During the visit to Getech's Industrial Internet Exhibition Hall, the company's staff provided detailed introductions to the visiting leaders and experts on Getech's strategic layout in recent years, core product R&D, and the application of its industrial internet platform.
Chairman Sun Wei of the Provincial CPPCC fully affirmed Getech's achievements, including its focus on the "platform + application" product positioning, its core mission of "internal empowerment and external output," and its successful selection this year as a national cross-industry and cross-field industrial internet platform certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, achieving a breakthrough for Hubei Province in national "dual-cross" platforms.
Chairman Sun Wei expressed the hope that Getech will shoulder the responsibility as a leading enterprise in its field in Hubei, attach great importance to innovation, R&D, and the transformation of achievements, actively integrate into the construction of 'Three Highlands and Two Bases,' vigorously promote digital industrialization and industrial digitalization, focus on extending, supplementing, strengthening, and solidifying the industrial chain, and drive the transformation and upgrading of Hubei's manufacturing industry from point to area, accelerating the shift from 'Hubei Manufacturing' to 'Hubei Intelligence Manufacturing.'
At the symposium, Zhang Yaqi, Vice President of Getech, and Zhou Jing, General Manager of Getech's Central China Region, reported to Chairman Sun Wei. Chairman Sun Wei listened carefully and pointed out that the industrial internet is a key infrastructure for the digital transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, with smart manufacturing application scenarios being extensive and having broad development prospects. He emphasized the need to conduct thorough market research and evaluation of the industrial chain and inter-regional markets, to strive for excellence by benchmarking against industry leaders, and to jointly embrace the new blue ocean of 'machine replacement.' He also stressed the importance of introducing high-end leading talents, teams, and enterprises, leveraging intelligence and strength to promote leapfrog development in the industry. Additionally, he highlighted the need to utilize high-level open platforms such as the 'Huachuang Conference' to increase investment attraction, continuously optimize the business environment, and attract more upstream and downstream projects in the industrial chain to settle and take root in Hubei, contributing more to the construction of the province's 'Pioneer Zone.'
As a cornerstone of the industrial internet, Getech has achieved several important milestones since establishing itself in Hubei:
From 2019 to 2021, Getech was selected for three consecutive years as part of Wuhan's Industrial Intelligent Transformation Consulting and Diagnostic Platform;
In September 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced a list of 23 pilot projects for the transformation and upgrading of national new industrialization industrial demonstration bases through industrial internet platforms. The 'Electronics Information (Optoelectronics) Demonstration Base Digital Transformation Pilot Project Based on the Dongzhi Platform' in the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone was the only project selected from Hubei Province;
In November 2022, the 'New Generation 5G+ Smart Factory Project, jointly created by Getech, Hubei Unicom, and Wuhan China Star Optoelectronics, to help China Optics Valley's China Star Optoelectronics seize the global production high ground in 'Optics, Chips, Displays, and Networks,' won the second prize in the national competition of the fifth 'Blooming Cup' 5G Application Collection Competition.
In the future, Getech will continue to provide supporting力量 for Hubei's冲刺 into a trillion-level 'Optics, Chips, Displays, and Networks' industrial cluster digitalization. By establishing a platform ecosystem and collaborating with various forces, Getech aims to make Wuhan, Hubei, a demonstration area for the digital transformation of China's manufacturing industry.
