Top! GETECH Receives CMMI Level 5 Certification
Recently, the American CMMI Institute officially awarded GETECH the CMMI Level 5 assessment certificate. CMMI is one of the highest-standard and most difficult certifications in the global software industry, and few companies can achieve CMMI Level 5 certification.
This marks that GETECH has reached international advanced levels in software capability maturity and project management, with absolute competitiveness; it lays a solid technical foundation for the continuous innovation and upgrade of GETECH's products.
CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) is an assessment and certification system jointly developed by the U.S. Department of Defense, Carnegie Mellon University, and the National Defense Industrial Association, representing the most advanced software engineering methods internationally and is one of the highest-standard and most difficult certifications in the global software industry. Whether a company can pass CMMI certification has become an important indicator in the industry to measure a software company's engineering development capability.
CMMI qualification certification is divided into 5 levels, from Level 1 to Level 5. The higher the certification level, the higher the capability maturity of the software organization.
According to data published on the official CMMI website, as of now, there are 786 Chinese software companies that have passed CMMI Level 5 certification, accounting for only about 2% of the total number of large-scale software companies in China.
GETECH obtained CMMI Level 3 certification in August 2020, and two years later, it again obtained CMMI Level 5 certification, fully demonstrating its continuous investment and leading position in the R&D field.

This assessment and certification work lasted for 6 months. During the process, the CMMI review team conducted a comprehensive and detailed evaluation of GETECH: a total of 4 sample R&D projects were inspected, and through interviews, document checks, result demonstrations, etc., strict reviews were carried out on the practical application of various capability areas, practice areas, and practices. All 19 process areas fully met the CMMI Level 5 V2.0 requirements, and more than 10 strengths were identified.
Successfully passing the CMMI Level 5 assessment is a recognition of GETECH's process improvement, project management, and service delivery capabilities, marking that its product R&D capability maturity has reached international advanced levels.
