GETECH attends the first China Software Innovation and Development Conference, suggesting to accelerate semiconductor industrial software technology innovation

On April 15, the first China Software Innovation and Development Conference was successfully held in Wuhan. The conference, themed 'Strengthening the Foundation, Casting the Soul, Innovation and Win-Win', was jointly hosted by the China Electronic Information Industry Federation, Wuhan Municipal People's Government, and Hubei Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology.


He Jun, Vice President of TCL Industries and CEO of GETECH, was invited to attend the conference and, as a keynote speaker, delivered a speech titled 'Promoting the Autonomy and Controllability of Semiconductor Industrial Software, Domestic Technology Urgently Needs New Breakthroughs', discussing how to build world-class semiconductor smart factories through breakthroughs in industrial software technology.


In his speech, He Jun stated that semiconductor manufacturing has entered the intelligent development stage of 'software-defined factory'. Technological breakthroughs by industrial software companies at the application, platform, and equipment levels are supporting the 'software-defined factory' and enabling the construction of semiconductor smart factories.

Semiconductor factories feature multi-process, massive high-frequency data, and highly automated equipment production, requiring tight coupling of systems such as equipment management, production control, and quality management to achieve intelligent operation. CIM software (Computer Integrated Manufacturing), including MES, EAP, SPC, FDC, etc., is regarded as the 'central brain' of semiconductor factories. The 7*24 production operation of semiconductor factories relies on the scheduling and control capabilities of the CIM system; if CIM stops, the factory halts. Therefore, CIM software should be highly valued, similar to EDA software (Electronic Design Automation).


He Jun stated that Chinese companies have already broken through technical barriers in the CIM software field. The case of GETECH's Suzhou Huaxing CIM system replacement is a successful example, opening a path of independent development through technological innovation for 'industrial software-defined smart factories'. GETECH applied the latest AI, IoT, and big data technologies to make the new CIM system faster and smarter, improving factory automation rates and product quality. Through Gechuang's own practice, it demonstrates that domestic industrial software companies have the capability for technological breakthroughs.


According to He Jun, GETECH has set 'AI+EES' (Equipment Engineering System) as a new R&D direction for semiconductor equipment engineering systems. This refers to building standardized EES SaaS software based on AI technology to make equipment more intelligent, optimizing equipment parameters, and improving quality levels, thereby providing better support for semiconductor equipment industrialization. Additionally, GETECH proposed the new trend of 'AI+ quality analysis', which uses AI algorithms and big data analytics to monitor, statisticize, model, and analyze process data, combined with visual inspection, to solve product quality issues in production, achieve full-chain data integration for quality processes, and help factories break through yield limits. These two new trends showcase GETECH's strong capabilities in technological innovation in the industrial software field.


Beyond innovations in semiconductor equipment, quality, and production control systems, GETECH also focuses on deploying smart hardware, driving equipment intelligent upgrades with software and algorithms. Leveraging deep understanding of optical capabilities, industrial mechanisms, and industry pain points, GETECH achieved technological breakthroughs in software platforms, mechanical design, and optical capabilities for domestic semiconductor AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) equipment, enabling the built-in algorithm capabilities to identify various defects more efficiently and accurately.


Finally, He Jun suggested that, drawing on the development experience of foreign industrial software, technological breakthroughs in semiconductor industrial software require manufacturing companies as the main body, collaborating with industrial software ecosystem partners. Efforts should focus on opening scenarios, improving industrial software stability, setting software standards, and talent cultivation to accelerate the development of China's semiconductor industrial software.
