Recently, the 2023 IDC China Industrial Internet Summit with the theme 'Digital-Real Integration, Reconstructing Industrial Ecology' was successfully held in Shenzhen. At the event, the IDC China 'Future Digital Industry Leader' Award was officially announced. Thanks to outstanding performance in building an intelligent central platform, the Data Asset Management Platform project completed by TCL CSOT in collaboration with Getech was successfully recognized.

Currently, data, as a new type of production factor, plays an increasingly important role in factory operations. TCL CSOT has also elevated the demand for data to a strategic level, clearly defining the Data Asset Management Platform as the unified entry point for company data. Data standards must be solidified, data quality improved, and data value realized across various domains in line with the company's digital transformation.

To this end, TCL CSOT collaborated with Getech, using data asset inventory as a starting point, to implement a series of measures that打通 value chains, achieving 'business datafication and data assetization,' thereby supporting business strategic objectives:

Inventory key system data assets across 10 areas including supply chain, suppliers, product management, quality, and personnel. Refer to consulting and industry best practices, combined with actual projects, to establish data governance organizations, systems, processes, improve data standards, enhance data quality, and optimize data architecture.

Build a Data Asset Management Platform with core functions such as metadata management, asset catalog, quality monitoring, and security identification, making data standards manageable online, data quality stable and visible, and the overall status of enterprise data assets clearer.

Data from key business domain systems is ingested into the data lake. Following internal data lake management standards, design and implement business models to data models. Meanwhile, based on data standard specifications, organize and converge standards for data already in the lake, completing data asset registration to solidify assets.

Unified data permission management system and process. Achieve hierarchical data authorization through multi-tenant management, connecting data management to data applications, ensuring enterprise data security and controllability, and making data visible and usable.

In this selection, compared to similar data asset management platform projects in the market, the Data Asset Management Platform built by Getech for TCL CSOT completed full lifecycle management from inventory, lake registration, release, to visualization. It fully打通 the value chain from collection to management to application, truly establishing TCL CSOT's enterprise-level data asset value system, enabling data assets to realize their value in various business and management activities across the enterprise.

Currently, the Data Asset Management Platform has become TCL CSOT's data management portal. Business departments can learn about the company's overall data assets through the data asset catalog, quickly and efficiently obtain target data via a convenient data application entry, while the platform provides fine-grained permission control capabilities, ensuring data application is both secure and controllable. This greatly resolves the past difficulties of 'hard to find data, hard to use data' faced by business departments, effectively supporting numerous business analyses and enterprise management decisions, truly realizing the transformation of business data value.

The IDC China 'Future Digital Industry Leader' Award began collecting cases in February 2023.
